Functional Testing (When Appropriate)

Testing allows us to move from guessing to clarity.

Depending on your needs, we may recommend:

  • A comprehensive hormone test that looks at how your body produces, uses, and clears hormones like estrogen, progesterone, cortisol, and androgens.

    This test helps us understand things like cycle irregularities, PMS, low energy, stubborn weight gain, and stress response—so we’re not guessing based on symptoms alone.

  • A stool-based test that evaluates the health of your gut microbiome.

    It can identify imbalances such as bacteria, parasites, yeast, inflammation, and digestive markers that may be contributing to bloating, food sensitivities, hormone disruption, and chronic inflammation.

  • A blood panel designed to uncover metabolic and hormonal factors that can make fat loss feel impossible—even when you’re eating well and exercising consistently.

    This test looks at markers related to thyroid function, insulin resistance, inflammation, and overall metabolic health.

  • A breath test used to detect Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO), a common root cause of chronic bloating, gas, and digestive discomfort.

    If symptoms flare after eating or feel inconsistent and hard to pin down, this test can provide clarity on what’s happening in the gut.
